Social Responsibility
At globegarden we have the privilege of making a profound and unique difference in the communities we work and live in. And it's an opportunity we take to heart.
For many years now, we have supported the WWF's mission to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on earth by joining the annual WWF run with many of our globegarden children. globegarden proudly stands behind our many children and employees who invest their time and work to make the world a better place.
Supporting the communities in which we work and live is at our core. We are proud that many of our centers build this credo right into the children's educational curriculum and activities. Visiting retirement homes, engaging grandparents for story-time or letting children learn in the classroom by listening to a grandparent's "when I was your age" story is inspiring.
In addition, many centers host team-building fundraising events to support foundations, such as YAM and other charities that are important to our individual teams. In recent years, teams have helped build water wells in Africa, collected numerous Christmas gifts for local families in need as well as toys for Syria with the Relief and Reconciliation NGO, and also supported the set-up of a preschool in Africa.
