In time for the start of apprenticeships in August, globegarden, as one of the leading training companies in childcare, is once again investing in the quality of vocational training. The position of a specialist manager for in-company training was created. It is intended to further strengthen the area of training / teaching, to integrate innovations around teaching and to ensure that vocational trainers and apprentices are well supported operationally and promoted accordingly.
Aiming for an even better level of quality
Michael Rütimann, who has been with globegarden since 2018 and can look back on more than 17 years of professional experience in educational institutions, is responsible for the specialist management. With his many years of experience as an examining expert, teacher and course leader at the Childcare Education Center (bke), he is responsible for both the conception of vocational training and its qualitative implementation by coaching the vocational trainers at globegarden. Michael Rütimann is also responsible for the operational day-care center management, the educational program as well as the team management and further development of two globegarden locations. In addition, he will offer workshops for learners, which initiate the promotion of talent and thereby also support the promotion and empowerment of individual employees.
Following the recent first certification as a “Great Place to Work”, which globegarden attests to an above-average working environment in a benchmark comparison, this measure is intended to achieve an even better and uniform level of quality for trainers and learners across all institutions. But it is also a further commitment that globegarden continuously invests in the training and talent development of its employees.
Attractive training center
Globegarden congratulates this year‘s 54 apprentices who have successfully completed their apprenticeship, employs around 150 apprentices from summer and offers over 50 internship and apprenticeship positions every year. All interns are guaranteed an apprenticeship position after successfully completing the three-month trial period. The learners are trained by experienced professional trainers according to the latest findings of educational research. Those who complete an apprenticeship at globegarden also have the best prospects for a job or a further training position.
